Samsung Heavy bags USD100 mln Order for 2 LNG Ships

 South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has won a $100 million order to build two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers for Korea Line, reports Yohnap.   Korea Gas Corp. (KOGAS) has chartered Korea Line to transport LNG from Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province (mainland) to Jeju Island for 20 years.

GOGL Adds Dry Bulk Vessel

Diana Shipping Adds m/v Astarte

 Diana Shipping, a company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels, has announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has taken delivery of the m/v Astarte (formerly “Seatrust”).   Astarte  is a 2013 built Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel of 81,513 dwt that the Company entered into an agreement to purchase in April 2017.
